Reasons Associated With Common Contraceptive Methods Used among Women in Qaladze District

Back groundFamily planning is the deliberate use of contraception to arrange a couple's desiredchildbearing plan and number, family practice using contraceptives avoidunplanned pregnancies, have fewer children, spacing out childbirths.AimTo assess reasons associated with common methods used among women inQaladze district.Material methodA cross-sectional study was conducted on 180 reproductive age 15-49 years old,who were attending in two private gynecology obstetrical clinics Qaladze generalteaching hospital district. Data collection started 1 st June, 2022 ended ,August, 2022.a non-probability purposive sampling recruit who livingin district its surroundings. Special questionnaire constructed for proper datacollection based extensive review related literature studies. For data processing andstatistical analysis, statistical program social science (SPSS, Version 25) used. Thispackage featured descriptive such as frequency percentage characterizethe essential characteristics data, well figures.ResultsThe mean respondents (34 ±6.842), most (31.1%) fall theage bracket (31-36) years, regarding women’s occupational status. Most proportion therespondents house wife (73.9%, n=133). In matter literacy studysamples illiterate (14.4%n=35) at same time smallest group them postgraduate level (2.2%, n=4). With regards residential area participants largenumber came from urban residents (78.9%, n=142) other side, lowest partof enrolled samples rural (6.1%, n=11). Concerning type families ofthe recruited mostly nuclear parents (80.6%, n=145) whereas smallproportion live their in-laws (19.4%, n=35).Regarding reasonsfor current method contraception, reason choosing healthinessand safety (55.6%, n=100) least chosen contraceptive wasbecause it cheap (22.2%, n=40).concerning ,the majority coitous interruptus(51.7%), contrary injectablecontraceptive lactational amenorrhea not all.ConclusionMore than half chose healthiness theircurrent method, while easiness secondmost wascoitous interruptus which holds more participants, following by condom users,least injectable contraceptives
